
Pvt. Lawrence J. O’Brien of Adams street. Norwood, is hospitalized in France with fever and trench foot after chasing the Nazi for 15 days and nights with General Patch’s 7th Army. His wife and two children are now residing with her parents in Dedham.
Pvt. O’Brien is one of four brothers in the service: Sgt. Leo, a Marine, has been in the Pacific for 22 months: Sgt. Raymond, also a Marine, is with the 4th Division and has been in the Pacific area for a year, and Pvt. Robert is completing amphibious training with the Infantry on the West Coast. All four are graduates of the Norwood schools. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leo O’Brien of Dedham and brothers of Mrs. F. Eaton of Rock street, Norwood.
