There is getting to be a very general demand in this town that the police and town authorities pay a little attention to regulating the speed of automobiles in passing through Norwood. To be sure quite a number of automobiles are owned in this town, but this should make only a limited amount of difference. Automobile owners and drivers are good men, like the rest of us, and have no real intention of killing or maiming anyone, but they are apt to use their machines carelessly and will bo much more careful if they are looked after a little.
