Walter Surette, who is usually seen around Norwood on the operating end of a camera, turns subject this time to let the lens record his catch of striped bass hooked in the Cape Cod Canal.

Trolling near the Sagamore end of the Canal, Walter was out about an hour when he caught these three beauties at 4 a.m. He used a rod and reel with eel skins for bait. The fish tipped the scales at 16, 18 and 21 pounds.
