NEW LANDMARKS in the Norwood area are these structures which are fast changing the appearance of the surrounding countryside.

Top left is Norwood’s new St. Timothys Church being built on the shores of picturesque Willett Pond.

Top right is the new Catholic Regional High School going up on Clapboardtree Street at the Westwood-Norwood line.

Lower left is the new Grace Episcopal Church on Chapel street shown in the final stages of construction.

Lower right are two duplex apartment buildings under construction at Hill and Washington streets. These edifices represent a continuing boom in construction in the area with costs running into the millions. (Eugene McLean Photos)
