NEWLYWEDS—Mr. and Mrt. Thomas J. Connolly were married at St. Catherine’s Church, on August 18, at 9 o’clock. The bride Is the former Marie Ruscio of 44 Willow Street. The groom formerly resided at 66 Railroad Avenue. A reception after the wedding was held at Workman’s Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S Darling moved to Norwood from Canton. Mr. Darling is with Helio Aircraft.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Doherty came to Norwood from Newton. Daughter Marguerite is 17 and Francis is 14. Mr. Doherty is a carpenter.
Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Q. By throw moved to Norwood from Quincy. Mr. Bythrow is with Mason-Neilan Regulator.
Mr and Mrs. Charles A. Constas came to Norwood from Dorchester. Son Tony is 2 years, and Nicky is 9 months. Mr. Constas is an accountant for Harvey Sales.
Mr. and Mrs. Matthew J. O’Malley moved to Norwood from Fairhaven. Cathleen is 8, Kevin is 6 years, and Keith is 9 months.
Mr. and Mrs. John C. O’Connor came to Norwood from Dedham. Daughter Terese is 5 months old. Mr. O’Connor is with Foster Electric Company.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander J. Andrea moved to Norwood from Boston. Son Joseph is 7 months old and Barbara is 10 years old. Daughter Caroline is 6 years old. Mr. Andrea is assistant supervisor for Employers Insurance.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Foley came to Norwood from Roslindale. Son Joe is 10, Frank is 8 and Paul is 3 years. Mr. Foley is with Hyde Park Tribune.
Mr and Mrs Robert Yanni moved to Norwood from Dedham. Son Ken is 5, Dennise is 3 and Richard is 2 years. Mr Yanni is a TV repair man for Nash Radio in West Ròxbury
Mrs. Rose Hobaica, wife of the late Joseph Hobaica, moved to Norwood from Quincy. Son, Henry, is in the Air Force, son Edward resides in Watertown, and Joseph is employed in Foxboro.

Norwood Man Training With Army Reserve

Sergeant First Class Bernard G Sundquist, of 412 Prospect street, and Corporal Gerald E. Pike of 13 Douglas avenue, are completing two weeks of summer field training with the 33th Antiaircraft Artillery Operations Detachment at Fort Banks, Winthrop, Mass., after spending the first week at the North Truro Mass. Air Force Station.

This unit meets regularly throughout the year every Tuesday evening at the Boston Army Base, Boston, Mass. Major RaymondPineham, Jr., of Foxboro is the commanding officer of the detachment.

Elwin McNutt On Navy Leave

A local Navy man home on 14 days recruit leave is Elwin K. Me Nutt son of Mrs. Gertrud McNutt of 101 Cottage Street, Norwood. Elwin has just finished 9 weeks of recruit training at the U. S. Naval Training Center, Bainbridge, Maryland, and is now enjoying 14 days leave. Upon completion of the leave, he and three of his shipmates are driving their cars out, to Norman, Oklahoma, for 8 weeks of aviation fundamental school and upon completion of the 8 weeks, he will be sent to the aviation electronics school located at the U. S Naval Air Station, Memphis, Tenn. for 28 weeks. Elwin was enlisted in the navy at the Post Office, Building, Norwood, Massachusetts.

On Dean’s List At Emmanuel

Miss Grace Nuttall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph V. Nuttall, of 144 Walpole street, Norwood, has earned a place on the Dean’s List of Emmanuel College for the second semester according to Sister Angelis Elizabeth, dean.

The Dean’s List includes the top ten percent of students, who received an A average.

Graduates From Wilfred Academy

Elizabeth Forbes, 93 Hill Street, Norwood, recently graduated from the Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture, 492 Boylston Street, Boston.

Accepts Wellesley Teaching Position

Francis J. Lambert of 33 Everett Avenue, Norwood, has accepted a position as a sixth-grade teacher in Wellesley. He formerly taught the sixth grade at the Winslow School.

On Trip To Lake

Mrs. Frederick Loring III, of Railroad Avenue Norwood, hat recently returned from a trip with friends from Westwood, to scenic Lake Char­gogg­a­gogg­man­chaugg­a­gogg­chau­bun­a­gung­a­maugg.
