LITTLE, BUT OH BOY — “Bruce,” Cocker Spaniel, gets a real reception from Mary Ellen O Brien, daughter of Mr and Mrs James O’Brien of 8 Silver street, on his return from the wars.
Bruce entered the service on December 20, 1943, and served faithfully at undisclosed fronts overseas as a mine detector.
The dog was honorably discharged on March 24th (Surette Photo)
