Three couples were picked on Wednesday night as qualified to enter the finals of Roll-Land’s Graceful Skating Contest which will come off next month.
The couples were, Ann Lindfors of Savin Avenue, Norwood, and John Mattson of Johnson Court, Norwood; Mr. and Mrs. John Baltadonis of Nahatan Street, Norwood; and Ruth Crowley of Wall Street, Canton, and Tony Phillips of Highview Street, Norwood.
Finals will be staged next month, and contest awards include silver cups, and gold, silver, and bronze medals.
