Notice.

We, the undersigned, having purchased the grocery business ot Mr. T. J. Casey, desire to make the following announcement to the trade and public in general: on and after Jan. 1st, 1890, we will be found at the old stand on Railroad Avenue, soliciting and filling orders with that promptness and despatch which characterizes successful businessmen.

We earnestly hope that you will cooperate with us in order that we may not only be able to meet you on the same grounds as our predecessor but to surpass him if possible, not only in prices, but in the quality of goods —two points in which he has striven to be uppermost.

Hoping to merit your patronage in the future, we remain,

Yours,

Pendergast & Callahan.
