Chief William H. Sullivan and Sergeant William Barrett of the local police today started an investigation into two breaks which occurred here some time last night.

At the automobile agency of Joseph A. Moran of 186 Broadway, a 300-pound safe containing $150 was moved from the office and carried out through the rear window.

The Norwood Laundry on Washington St also was entered and various articles of clothing, with a total value of $100, stolen. Fingerprints were taken by police of the rear windows, through which entrance had been effected in each case.
