Norwood Buick Marks 38th Birthday-This Day In Norwood History-September 22, 1955

Thirty eight years ago, Mr. G. A. Stuntner organized the Norwood Buick Co. with a showroom at 649 Washington Street (pictured above).

Then the property at 10 Cottage Street was purchased which has since been the headquarters.

First a service station was constructed, later a showroom erected and then a warehouse added. Growing along with the Town of Norwood additional land was acquired so that now Norwood Buick Co. extends through the block to Vernon Street where now stands a modern building for specialized services.

This week Norwood Buick is celebrating its 38th anniversary with a barrage of bargains, sensational savings and free gifts. The celebration will extend through September 30th.
