As a registered voter in Norwood, you have the right and the responsibility to vote. Absentee ballots can be procured from the Town Clerk for members of your family who cannot be present at the armory on election day and for yourself, if it is necessary for you to be away from Norwood on November 6th.

Absentee ballots are available to those who are ill in bed, or in the hospital. They are available for servicemen, voters away at college, those out of town on business, and those on vacation.

To secure an absentee ballot the voter must apply in writing to the Town Clerk, or fill out an application form which is available at the Town Clerk’s office.
Absentee ballots must be completed In the presence of a notary public and, we have been advised that the Town Clerk will be available at the Norwood Hospital prior to election day for that purpose. Your vote is an important one. It is your chance to have a voice in the government of your community, your state and your nation.

Don’t miss the opportunity to cast your ballot on election day. It is your privilege if you are a registered voter.
