Norwood Man’s Notes for $540,000 in Case

Notes to the amount of $250,000 made by George F. Willett of Norwood, a member of the firm of Willett, Sears & Co., are the subject of a suit brought by George D. Baker of Boston in the Suffolk Superior Court. There are 30 notes in all, made on Oct 2., 1917. and the ad damnum in Mr. Baker’s writ is $300,000.

Fred W. Fisher of Winthrop also sues Willett for $400,000 on nine notes aggregating $290,000, made by the Norwood Housing Association, with which Willett was connected. Fisher has another suit for $260,000 against the United Printing Machinery Company on two notes amounting to $100,000.
