Bringing comprehensive multi-specialty care directly to the region, Dedham Medical Associates and the Harvard Community Health Plan have officially opened a new 23,000-square-foot medical facility staffed initially by five physicians at the River Ridge office complex on Route 1 in Norwood.
Comprehensive “One-Stop” Health Care and Expansion Plans
According to Dedham Medical Associates spokesman Doug Corcoran, the newly established facility is designed to eventually accommodate up to 20 physicians. The expansion extends the reach of Dedham Medical Associates—headquartered at 1 Lyons St. in Dedham—to better serve patients residing or working across Norwood, Walpole, Sharon, Canton, and surrounding communities.
Operating hours are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The center offers “one-stop” health care capabilities featuring centralized laboratory testing, X-ray equipment, and unified medical record-keeping to ensure thorough patient evaluations. As the facility scales toward full staffing, specialized clinical services will include allergy, cardiology, hematology, neurology, and general surgery.
