The backyard of 530 Walpole Street, Norwood, the scene of much activity one recent Wednesday afternoon when Judy Con- dron and Judy DeLorrio, assisted by Nancy and Marge Aldrich and Lorraine DeLorrio, conducted a Fair.

The enterprising misses collected homemade cakes, cupcakes, popcorn, knick-knacks, magazines, comic books, etc., from neighbors and their own homes.

The fair boasted such attractions as a fish pond (candy and gum), take-a-chance (mise, items); a bargain counter, and a refreshment stand.

These were two main attractions – chances on a cake and a hand-made doilee. These drew a large response and were drawn at the close of the fair.

The proceeds are going to be given to Big Brother for the Jimmy Fund.
