“AROUND THE WORLD” FAIR—The annual church fair at the First Baptist Church in Norwood this year will bear the theme, “Around the World” and many of the workers will wear costumes of other lands. The First Baptist Church of Norwood has been busily preparing for the annual Church Fair, to be held on Friday and Saturday, September 29 and 30.

The theme of the fair will be “Around the World.” It promises to be an unusual and interesting one, with exhibits of articles that have been brought from many different parts of the world; and also features a foreign cars display, and a World Fashions Show, with authentic costume from foreign countries, which will be held on Friday at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish House.

The fair will open its doors at 10 a.m on both days, with many booths and tables, offering for sale lovely handmade foods and candies, and also many lovely plants.

A Chowder Luncheon will be served on Friday at 11-30 a.m. On Saturday, there will be a snack-bar open, and outdoor games for all, and pony rides to delight the youngsters, also a tasty Ham and Baked Bean Supper will be served at 5’30 and 6.30 p.m.

Anyone looking for outstanding values will not want to miss the Auction to be held at 7.30 pm. on Saturday.

The public is welcomed to attend.
