John F. Kennedy, then the junior Senator from Massachusetts, made an official visit to Norwood on October 15, 1958.
Senator Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline stopped at several spots around Norwood, including the Town Square, the Plimpton Press, the Norwood Fire Station, and the offices of the Norwood Messenger.
We’ve included several incredible photos of future President Kennedy taken that day in Norwood by famed Norwood Messenger photographer Eugene “Scoops” Mclean, which we have colorized. Let us know if you recognize anyone in the photos!
