1000 Names Are Listed

The Roll of Honor when completed was placed on the Town Common. The names are now displayed in Memorial Hall.

The Honor Roll committee will meet tonight and continue checking the more than 1000 names of servicemen and women eligible for the Honor Roll scroll to be erected by the town in their honor.

The meeting tonight will be held in the selectmen’s rooms at the Municipal building and will be presided over by Edmund F. Murphy, honor roll committee chairman.

Citizens are urged to cooperate with the committee by sending in the names of relatives in the service. The qualifications for the honor roll list have not been decided as yet, but the committee is anxious to secure every name of men and women from Norwood who are in the armed forces or their auxiliaries.
