Smash Combination of Safe Near Police Station

May 9, 1932—Burglars took $500 from the safe of the Norwood Theatre, Central st, early this morning. Whoever committed the robbery entered the theatre by a rear window, which led into a coal bin. and went from there to the office at the front of the building.
The combination on the safe was knocked off and the receipts of Saturday and Sunday nights were taken. The robbery was discovered this morning at 9:30 o’clock by the janitor of the theatre.
Chief of Police William H. Sullivan and Sergeant William Barrett are making an investigation.
The theatre is in the center of the town, only 100 yards from the police station.
