Town Moderator Walter Gotovich has appointed the Committee of Seven authorized under Article 10 of the May 18th Special Norwood Town Meeting, to secure engineering and building plans for a new 16-classroom elementary school to be built on Prospect Street near Pine Street.

First named on the committee is Arthur B. Rodgers of 342 Prospect Street, whose duty it will be to call the first meeting for organization purposes.

Other members of the committee are:

Joseph R. Olshan, 210 Sumner Street; Francis X. Sheehan, Jr., 15 Bird Road; Ellen A. Dixon, 21 Maple Street; Selectman John A. Abdallah, 1027 Washington St.; Finance Commissioner Ambrose J. Kelly, 766 Neponset Street, and School Committee Member Mary H. Hemman, 11 Westview Drive.
