Norwood, Mass., July 30—The unveiling of a historical monument to the memory of Capt. Aaron Guild, a hero of the revolution fame, was the feature of the Old Home Week celebration here today. The exercises were held in the grounds of the Congregational church, where the statue stands. Harold E. Fales made the address of dedication.
Over 600 guests and visitors were present. The exercises were under the direction of the board of trade and the Business Men’s Association of Norwood. Band concerts and receptions at the village hall and a collation later in the day at the same place marked the day’s observance.
