Lieut. Colonel George T. Lee of Rock street is reported well and back flying with his group in Italy according to word his mother has received. Col. Lee was hospitalized in Italy for three weeks following an appendectomy.
The Norwood ace but recently was advanced from Major to the rank of Lieut. Colonel. He has set records for the number of missions flown as a fighter pilot, and wears not only the American DFC. but also the British DFC, awarded for his part in the British Army advance in the Libyan desert campaign.
