Walter Eppich, Robert Corcoran Enlist in U.S. Coast Guard

Two Norwood boys. Walter B. Eppich and Robert Francis Corcoran, have recently enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard as apprentice seamen in the current quota for young men of 17 years, and are now receiving three months of basic military and nautical training at Manhattan Beach. N. Y.

Eppich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Eppich of 234 Nahatan st., attended Norfolk County Agricultural School in Walpole, where he was a junior at the time of his enlistment. He has also been an active member of the Norwood Chapter of DeMolay.

Corcoran, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Corcoran, also attended Norfolk County Agricultural School. He has one brother in the Navy.
