
The Guild School lot at Central and Guild streets, one of the last majority votes the terms of a new contract, available business sites in town changed hands yesterday when title passed from the Town at Norwood to Albert P. Nelson, local real estate and insurance man and John G Rizzo, Norwood contractor.
The land has been owned by the town since 1892 when it was acquired from Lev. is Day for Yesterday it brought the town $27,090. The site was for many occupied by the Guild which was destroyed by fire in 1928. The land has been vacant since that time.
Authority for the sale was given by the voters at the last annual town meeting.
