
Two enterprising Norwood girls, Judy Murray and Patricia Devine, wishing to aid the fight against cancer, staged a carnival in the yard of the Devine home at 444 Nahatan street last week and when the returns were all in, found that they had $24.05 which is to be forwarded to Big Brother Bob Emery.
The yard was converted into a miniature showplace with the aid of some of the parents and over 50 persons attended the affair. Refreshments were sold and Mr. Murray showed movies to add to the entertainment.
Booths were set up for the sale of the good things to eat and drink and games were also played Taking part were Cheryl and Donna Flood, David and Patricia Devine, Ann Thomas and Alice Murray.
