This week marks the official opening of Burk’s Shoe Store at 643 Washington street, under the ownership and management of Morris L. Burk.
Bringing to Norwood’s buying public the very best in quality shoes, popularly priced to please the most budget-minded, is Mr Burk’s code. He can point to a background of forty years in the shoe business, 25 of which he spent in business in Stoughton.
“Proper fitting and fine styling are all-important factors in shoes” according to Mr. Burk. His new air-conditioned store is well equipped to serve all shoe needs for every member of the family, hence he has just completed a storewide clearance sale thus enabling him to purchase new stock.
Burk’s, for the convenience of its customers, will be open every Friday evening until 9 o’clock.
