Neighbors of Ann and Don Sisk of 23 Deerfield Road, Norwood, were so elated over the fact that the Sisk’s fourth child was a girl, that they rented a Donnelly advertising sign on Route 1 to let everyone know about it.
The new arrival, christened Nancy Marie at St. Catherines Church on Saturday, was born at the Norwood Hospital July 17.
She joins three brothers at home, Donal, 5, Jeffrey, 4, and John, 3.
Mrs. Sisk is the former Ann Talbot of Springfield, and her husband is manager of Hancock Village.
Joining in extending the billboard best wishes to the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stranos, Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Mahoney, and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy J. Connors, all residents of Deerfield road. (Eugene McLean Photo)
