St. Catherine’s Drum and Bugle Corps will march the Franklin Firemen’s parade this coming Saturday, August 17th.
This is a competitive parade and three cash prizes will be awarded in each class competing.
The starting time of the parade is 1 p.m.
St. Catherine’s Drum and Bugle Corps will also take part in Rhode Island competition to be held in Somerset, Mass., this coming Sunday.
The competition is sponsored by the Rhode Island Fifers Drummers’ and Buglers’ Association.
The Corps was notified on Tuesday, August 12. that they had won second prize in the Foxboro Firemen’s Parade held In Foxboro on Saturday, August 3rd.
Manager Wallace MacDonald accepted the cash prize of $50.00 on behalf of the corps.
