The Norwood Business Association played an important role in convincing Boston based businesses to relocate to Norwood. This article, from June 10, 1893, is the first mention of creating what would eventually become the Norwood Press, which brought hundreds of new workers to Norwood. Two years later, in 1895, bookbinding firm H. M. Plimpton & Co,, and printers J. S. Cushing & Co and Berwick & Smith built a combined plant along the railroad tracks on Washington street near subway hill, forming the Norwood Press.
