Suggestions that Norwood selectmen take stops toward naming parks and street corners for servicemen who have lost their lives in this war was made to Norwood selectmen on Tuesday night by Louis Orent who wrote the Board.
Mr. Orent also called selectmen’s attention to the fact that the monument on the Guild Square Park has become almost hidden by growth of shrubbery.
Selectmen discussed the naming of parks and street corners, and the Board indicated that it felt that some recognition should be planned for these men.
