The body of Tech Sgt Sidney H. Simmons who was killed in action on March 15 1945 will arrive in Norwood Monday night for final military honors.
Services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the rector, Rev. Franklyn Boardman officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the May Funeral Home 85 Nichols Street, on Tuesday, from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 10 pm.
Sgt. Simmons is survived by his widow, Mrs. Esther Jones’ Simmons of Veterans Road, and one child.
