Reid Bros. Laundry-Dry Cleaners will hold the Grand Opening celebration of their new drive-in location at 50 Central Street, Norwood, this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The ultra-modern plant features professional one-stop dry cleaning and laundry services plus a coin-operated laundry and dry cleaning facility. There is ample off-street parking.

The coin-operated laundry and dry cleaning store will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. An attendant will be on duty at all times for the convenience and safety of the cutomers. To celebrate this opening, Reid Bros is inviting customers to dip into a “grab barrel” for valuable prizes.

Reid Bros, was established in 1918 by Frank H. Reid in Dorchester, where he made his pick-ups and deliveries by horse and wagon. Today, Reid Bros, have two plants in Roslindale, one in West Roxbury and a plant on Walpole Street in Norwood. A fleet of twelve trucks service the Greater Boston area including Norwood, Dedham, and Westwood. The firm is owned and operated by Frank Reid, a Norwood resident, and Paul Reid, a Newton resident.
