At the adjourned town meeting last evening all the appropriations as recommended by the Finance Committee were voted, except the school appropriation, to which $300 was added on an amendment offered by R. E. Bullard of the School Board.
Among the Important items was an appropriation of $5200 for the purchase of a piece of motor fire apparatus.
A set of rules for the licensing of hawkers and pedlers was adopted, also a curfew law by which children under 16 years of ae cannot be out after 9 oclock, except when accompanied by a responsible person or under direction of parent or guardian.
It was voted to extend the sewer main in several streets, including Everett av, Bullard st. Highland st. Oak Road, Lenox av. West st. Pleasant st and Crescent av..
