Off For The Army

Navy Releases Lt. Carroll Wood
Lieutenant Carroll H. Wood has recently been released from duty in the United States Navy at the Navy Separation Center In Boston.
Lt. Wood has just returned from the Asiatic-Pacific theatre after 28 months of sea duty aboard the U. S. S. Oklahoma City. He had been in the Navy a total of three and a half years and was stationed at NTBSTC, Melville. Khode Island before going overseas.
Lt. Wood, a graduate of Dartmouth College is the son of Mrs. Edith W Hauck, of 12 Everett Avenue, Norwood.
101st Infantry Vets Banquet In Hub March 17
The 101st Infantry Veterans of World War II will hold their first annual banquet at the Hotel Bradford, Boston, Sunday evening, March 17 at 8:00 p.m.
All members of the 101st Infantry 26th Division are urged to attend.
Tickets may be obtained any day or night at the Yankee Division Club at 200 Huntington Avenue, Boston, from any member of the committee.
