Census Figures Astonish Even the People of the Town—Gain In Five Years Is 2956

Norwood has a population of 10,970, according to the preliminary figures of the State census.
The result of the census astonishes everyone here. The census in 1910 gave Norwood 8014; thus the growth in five vears has been 2956, a gain of about 36.88 percent, a larger gain than any other town in the State except Brookline and Arlington.
