Norwood’s Stores Filled with Beautiful Holiday Goods.

It is a pleasure to take a look into the stores of Norwood, then busy days preceeding the Christmas season. Always in the front rank of progress, it seems as if the Norwood merchants have fairly outdone any previous effort in making their stores attractive with useful and ornamental goods. Acceptable gifts for people in all walks of life, and to suit the size and convenience of all pocket books can be found on the counters and shelves of Norwood stores.

Always a strong advocate of “home trade” we are more than ever inclined this year to urge our readers to do their Christmas shopping in Norwood and thus not only keep their money in their home town, but show the town merchants that their efforts to give the best for the least money are appreciated.

Among those who are making displays of Christmas goods and whose stores present roost artistic and attractive displays are H. E. Rice & Co.,.R. J. .Joyce, G. H. Carter, L. W. Bigelow Sons, Holton the druggist, Norwood Furniture Company, Folan the shoe man, whose display of shoes cannot be surpassed, Thompson’s drug store and W. B. Hastings & Co.

There are many other stores in town that carry goods suitable for Christmas gifts, but that do not make

such a display. For instance, a stove or range would be acceptable to many and W. D. Huutoon & Co. have a large variety to select from. The grocery stores are also filled with Christmas goods, and make a grand display of those things which help to make a fine Christmas dinner.

You can get anything you want in Norwood and there is no need to go elsewhere.
