John Wagner of Norwood Had Close Call from Death When Horses and Wagon Fell With Him.

John Wagner, employed at the plant of the New England cement stone construction company in Norwood, met with a singular accident yesterday and escaped from a serious situation with only a few bruises.
In the rear of the company’s plant is a pit about 25 feet deep. In backing his horses and wagon into the pit yesterday afternoon, Wagner suddenly found the walls of the pit caving in. He went down into the earth head first and the two horses and wagon were precipitated also into the hole, followjng almost on top of him.
The wagon was considerably damaged. Wagner escaped with only a few bruises and the horses were uninjured.
