The name of Robert L. Peters has become familiar to many poetry lovers during the last ten years In which more than one hundred of the leading poetry journals and literary magazines and reviews have featured his poems. Listeners to programs of poetry have heard his work on radio stations in Canada, Engand and the United States. His work appears in more than (Ive languages in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.


Some of his latest books are: Stalking the Golden Lion, a novel, (Boston), Circle Circle, poetry volume, (Boston), Song of Death, poetry volume, (New York), and Flame of Death, poetry volume, (London).

His poetry displays Mr. Peters’ background as scientist, editor, teacher, painter, author, poet and lecturer. Registered on the National Register of Scientific Personnel as an applied physicist, Mr., Peters has studied Nuclear Physics, Atomic Physics and other modern science at MIT. However, he received his B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts with additional study in such schools as Boston University and Hartford School of Art.


He is an honorary member of the Mark Twain Literary Society and was elected to membership In Sigma Iota Xi. During the years he has been member of many poetry and literary organizations including Avalon World Arts Academy, the American Poets Fellowship, NEO, the American Literary Association, the Society of North American Poets, and the International Writers League. Among the many prizes he has won is the Wm. Russell Ames Lo Grand II Award presented In 1955.
