Members’ Meeting with Paul Revere!

After a brief review of society business, we are excited to welcome historical interpreter Michael LaPage, appearing as Paul Revere.

His name evokes images of the famous “Midnight Ride” ride of April 18-19, 1775. But there is so much more to the man than his famous ride. Revere was a Master Goldsmith specializing in working with silver. He cut copper plates depicting famous events on the eve of the American Revolution. He made false teeth! He was a Lt. Colonel in the Massachusetts Militia and after the war became one of America’s first industrialists, while proving to also be a devoted husband and father. This program will take place at the Day House, located at 93 Day Street, and is open to all interested parties.
