A huge yellow trailer which will roll into Norwood today and pull up in front of Regan’s Shoe Store, 637 Washington Street, should be a welcome sight to everyone with hard-to-fit feet.


Included among the {note than $10,000 worth of merchandise in I “Dr. Scholl’s Mobile Unit” are 1650 | pairs of shoes. Ranging in size from 214 to 13, AAAAA to EEEEEEEEE | for women, and 514 to 16, AAA to EEEEEEE for men, the shoes in-‘ elude a size and style for virtually, every type of foot, whether It be extremley long, short, wide, narrow, stubby, a bunion foot, or just plain normal. The shoes are biiilt on 2« different last styles, greatest range in the shoe industry.


Furthermore, because of the Immense range of the trailer’s stock, the shoes need not be ordered but may be bought on the spot and worn out of the store.


The trailer is coming to town by special arrangement between Mr. John Regan and The Scholl Mfg. Co., Inc., Chicago. In addition to the 1650 pairs of shoes, it contains a complete line of Scholl’s foot comfort remedies, appliances, and arch supports.


Upon arrival the contents of the trailer will be moved into Mr. Regan’s store on specially built por table display racks. Then three trained fool comfort experts from Dr Scholl’s Chicago headquarters will remain available throughout the day to provide foot comfort service to anyone desiring it.
Features of the program are free foot relief demonstrations and a free foot test for everyone who visits the store.


The Scholl men employ the Pedograph, a specially-developed device which records an inked impression of the bottom of a person’s foot while the subject is standing In addition to indicating exact size and last style of shoe required, the record reveals foot .troubles, such as weak or falling arches, bunions and other ailments.


Dr William M. Scholl, president, who founded the company 50 years ago, says “We have developed the mobile unit program in order to bring fine foot comfort service to the people of America. Through application of scientific principles, we feel we are equipped to cope with almost every common foot ailment ”


Before the program has been completed, the mobile units will have traveled the length and breadth of the United States and visited every area of the entire country.
