Storehouse and Stable of Furniture Company in Norwood Totally Destroyed by Fire

Fire this afternoon totally destroyed the storehouse and stable, of the Norwood furniture company,

This building is in the rear of the Washington salesrooms of the firm, and because of high wind the entire block was threatened.

There was one horse in the barn at the time of the fire and he was saved.

The storeroom was filled with furniture which had been sold during the Christmas season and was to be delivered this afternoon. The building and stock. were destroyed, involving a loss of $2000, covered by insurance,

John Callahan is the owner. The cause of the fire is unknown.
