
All details have been completed for the Norwood Catholic Woman’s Club Fashion Show “Around the World in 80 Minutes,” to be presented on Wednesday evening, October 21, in St. Catherine’s Auditorium.
Mrs. William McGovern, Ways and Means. Chairman, has announced that the committee in charge of this affair, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Richard Mahoney, includes Mrs. Arthur Groh, Mrs. Norman Greene, Mrs. Paul Mahoney, Mrs. Fred DeRosa, Mrs. Edward Hanley, Mrs. Timothy Connors, Mrs. David Ross, Mrs. Eugene Brady and Mrs. George O’Brien.
The latest in Fall and Winter Fashions will be featured and modeled by lovely club members, and as a special attraction by “Miss Massachusetts.”
If it should be something casual, or a gorgeous after-five, or maybe just something for in-between — these and more, in all the glorious shades and fabrics so prevalent this season will be presented by Kordette’s of Norwood.
To add the final touch of glamour to the trip “Around the World in 80 Minutes” will be the elegant hair styles by Vincent’s of Norwood.
A superlative evening’s entertainment is at hand with the very popular Molly McMahon furnishing the music for the evening.
Tickets will be on sale at tonight’s meeting and in the Auditorium after all the Masses on Sunday, October 18th. They may be obtained from any of the board members, committee members, and models.
All are invited to attend and refreshments will be served A door prize will be awarded to the holder of the
lucky ticket.
