Pvt Bartley E. King Jr., whose parents live at 238 Veron Street, Norwood, completed eight weeks of military police training at the Army Training Center, Fort Gordon, Ga, December 23.
King’s training included instruction in civil and military law, traffic control, map reading, prisoner-of-war control, and self-defense.
The 18-year-old soldier entered the Army in August and completed basic training at Fort Dix, N J. King is a graduate of Norwood High School and was employed by Norwood Installations, before entering the Army.
