NORWOOD DELAYS OPENING OF SCHOOLS UNTIL OCT 1

NORWOOD. Sept 5—Dr Charles L. Lynch, chairman of the Board of Health, announced late this afternoon that following a meeting of his board held today, it was decided to close the public and parochial schools of this town until Tuesday, Oct 1. as a precautionary measure against the spread of infantile paralysis. The schools were originally scheduled to open Sept 10.
