NORWOOD POST, V. OF F. W., STARTS WITH 33 MEMBERS

NORWOOD, March 19 — Norwood Post, V. of F. W., was instituted last night in the Junior High School Hall, with 33 charter members and representatives from Dedham, Stoughton. Roslindale, Taunton, Rockland, Brockton, Weymouth and Medway assisted in the ceremonies. Henry S. Williams, commander of the Taunton Post, and sta9 installed the officers. County Organizer Joseph Fern of Weymouth had general charge of the program and was assisted by Hubert Smith, Norfolk County commander.

The officers are John M. Flaherty, commander; James J. O’Brien senior vice commander; George M. Butler junior vice commander; Ole Jacobsen, officer of the day; Alfred N. Desnard, quartermaster; Patrick F O’Neil, chaplain.

Music was furnished by the John T. Fallon Post Band of Roslindale.
