Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Webber of 906 Washington street, Norwood, have received word from their son. Pfc. Russell H. Webber, a fleet Marine who was wounded in the Palau invasion, that he is back in the States and is now confined to a hospital in San Diego. Cal. He writes that he hopes to be home for Christmas.

Pfc. Webber, who had been hospitalized at New Caledonia before being shipped to San Diego, is one of five Webber boys in the service. T/ Sgt. Edgar F. Webber, a veteran of 50 missions as an aerial gunner on a B-24. was wounded in action in the Italian Theatre and was home recently on furlough. He is now stationed in Tennessee. Sgt. Preston J. Webber is with the amphibious engineers in New Guinea; Sgt. Horace Webber is with the infantry in Germany, and Pvt. Kenneth Webber is at present stationed at the Naval Ammunition Depot. Crane Island. Indiana.
