MISS ROLL-LAND—The honor of being chosen Miss Roll-Land for 1955 went to dainty Miss Lillian Carlson of Norwood. Two former winners of the top honor acted as judges for the sale-ethon. They were Nancy Olson, 1954 winner and Linda Flynn who won the title In 1940. A large crowd attended the elimination contest at which Miss Carlson won the title.

On Monday, January 9, 1956, there will be a special skating program at the Roll-Land Skating Rink in Norwood. This program is being sponsored by the Disabled American Veterans and the entire proceeds of the evening will go to the DAV Chapter Ninety, Norwood.

Roll-Land is especially proud of its Junior Fours Team. Skating together for the first time lost year, they took first place in the Massachusetts State Moot, and went on to win the Coveted Northeastern Regional Championship. This team Is composed of four of the most talented teenagers you’ll find anywhere: Miss Dorothy Hogan, Mr. Scott Massey, Miss Sylvia Power and Mr. Ronald Schneider. They will skate their competition routine on the Disabled American Veterans Program.
