REV AUGUST ERIKSON.

NORWOOD, Dec 20- -The dedication services of the Swedish Evangelical Mission were held yesterday at the new church on Chapel st, and lasted throughout the day. The morning services at 30 o’clock and greetings were read by the pastor, Rev C. O. Lawson. Other speakers were Rev G. A. Suber of Attleboro, Rev August

Erickson and Rev H. Lindblom, pastor of the Swedish Baptist church.

The afternoon services were at 3 o’clock and the dedication sermon was delivered by Rev August Erickson. The dedicatory prayer was offered and the dedication ceremonial was Conducted by the pastor, Rev* C. O. Law-son. Brief speeches were made by Rev H. Lindlom. Rev G. H. Suber, Deacon John Anderson, Hon F. O. Winslow and H. M. Plimpton.

Rev A. H. Pingree of the First Congregational church of Norwood, Prof Henrickson of Cambridge and Dr Emerich of Boston were the principal speakers at the evening services at 7 o’clock. During the day the Gustafson quartet and the “Stringband” of the Ruggles st Swedish Congregational church furnished vocal and instrumental music.

Quite a sum of money was pledged at the afternoon services to help liquidate the debt incurred by the building of the new edifice.
