The Norwood Historical Society is the repository of information about Norwood’s history and is headquartered in the F. Holland Day House, the first structure in Norwood to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Documents and photographs in our collection tell many stories about the development of Norwood such as our online exhibit of Norwood’s industrial history.
Visits to our archives can be arranged by email request, and are free to Society members. A research fee of $20 per visit (up to 2 hours) will be charged to non-members or waived at the discretion of the NHS president. Research can be carried out by our staff, with a fee determined by the scope of the request.
We are happy to reproduce images and documents in our collection according to the following rates. 2020 update: we are currently experiencing delays scanning and printing; prices are subject to change.
